Bailey Banks & Biddle is an American jewelry retailer that was established in 1832. At the turn of the 20th century, Bailey Banks & Biddle was commissioned by the U.S. Government to update the Great Seal of the United States; it remains the official version of the seal to this day. The company also designed and made the Congressional Medal of Honor, the Silver Star, the Bronze Star and the first Purple Heart medals.
