Belle Epoque Style Hollycraft Rhinestone Necklace

This exquisite Mid Century Hollycraft necklace recalls the opulence of the Belle Epoque. The necklace is a graduated garland of round, oval, and pear-cut stones in a muted rainbow spectrum. The rhinestones are set in clusters amongst tender gold-tone tendrils. A hallmark color palette for Hollycraft jewels. The piece is supple and well-made, thoroughly hinged, and the stones are all prong set. The necklace fastens with a folding clasp that is signed "Hollycraft Copr. 1950." Circa 1950.

Hollycraft jewelry was produced from 1948 to 1971 by the New York City-based Hollywood Jewelry Manufacturing Company. Hollycraft costume jewels are high quality, easily recognizable, and quite collectable.
