This English sterling silver medal depicts a dart board in black enamel. The dart board is set in an ornate silver frame and topped with a crown. The back of the medal is engraved: OSTRITCH RUNNER UP A. DADE 1947. The back is also marked SILVER. This fob is extremely cool. It will look great worn on one of our Ancient Influences married chains.

Mr. A. Dade was an avid darts player. We have been unable to identify the Ostritch competition, but we do know that Dade was an area semi-finalist in the first national News of the World Championship darts competition in 1948 and he competed in the Ross Cup in 1949. The medals commemorating those events are also available.

Details.....The pendant measures 1" by 1.50". In Very Good Vintage condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels, we consider it part of the charm.
