Bold & Pretty 1930s Deco Diamond Engagement Ring
A classic 1930s Art Deco engagement ring, with the east/west orientation and low profile we love about this style of ring. An old European cut diamond is held by triple-tipped prongs at the center of the platinum ring. This stone is flanked by two diamonds set in squares, creating an architectural effect. A dozen accent diamonds are set in a scalloped surround. It is both pretty and strong, the combination of curves and right angles makes a fabulous statement and a really interesting engagement ring. Circa 1930.
This ring comes with an insurance replacement cost appraisal. The appraisal is done by an independent gem lab. The appraised value is $3625.
Diamond Details.....The center diamond is an 0.48ct old European cut with SI2 clarity and G/H. The two flanking diamonds are round brilliant cuts with a total carat weight of 0.20, VS clarity and F/G color. Twelve tiny accent diamonds have a total carat weight of 0.20.
Details.....Currently a size 6.25. This ring may be sized up or down two sizes free of charge. Please contact us if you need this ring sized more than two sizes, it may be possible and will have a small fee. The ring measures 16mm by 8.5mm at the top and 1.5mm wide at the band.
