We have always loved the scarab jewels popular in the middle of the 20th century and are excited to have found a small collection of them. This brooch is an unusual and charming example of the style. An adorable little turtle is carved from deep, saturated green chrysoprase. His head is a carved chrysoprase scarab and his body and little tail and flippers are gold filled metal. He is marked "ADMARK" on his back. Such a colorful and fun little reptile pin. Circa 1950.
Details.....The brooch measures 1.65" by 1.12". In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels we consider it part of their charm.
