Charming Thistle Kilt Pin in Silver Plate & Glass
This utterly charming kilt pin is shaped like a thistle, the national emblem of Scotland. The silver plate safety pin has a thistle seed pod at its head, the flower represented by a "tuft" of purple glass. Nothing would make me happier than to see this wonderful piece worn on a kilt, but it will make a brilliant scarf pin too. Perfect for fastening any and all tartans you might need fastened. Circa 1970.
Details.....The pin measures 3.21" long and 0.61" wide and the wire is 10.9mm thick. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should expect all vintage and antique jewels to show some wear, we consider it part of their charm.
