Elegant Art Deco Chrysoprase Marcasite & Silver Ring

An elegant example of European Art Deco jewelry design, this ring is set with chrysoprase in the intense green so fashionable during this era. An oval cabochon of chrysoprase is bezeled and framed in a border of 835 grade silver ropework and engraving. Glittering marcasites spangle the border. The underside of the ring's proud gallery is engraved with a graceful wave design. Cathedral shoulders and a slim band finish the piece. Circa 1920.
