Chunky Antique Rose Cut Diamond Band

The rose cut diamonds in this band are held in pinched folds of gold, the angles of the diamond cuts and the texture of the setting working beautifully together. The gold is 14k and has a pleasing light rosy hue, the band tapers gently to the back. For all of its outward beauty my favourite design element is inside the band, take a look at the last picture, the adjouring is stunning in a row of wave like openings. This type of work done solely for the purpose of structure yet executed so beautifully and gracefully is one of the things that makes me love antique jewels so very much. Completely unique this hand crafted one of a kind antique ring dates from the late 1800's.

Details.....Currently a size 7.25, one free sizing is included with the purchase. The ring measures 5.5mm wide at the diamond set front. And 3.2mm at the back of the band. Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels, we consider it part of the charm.
