Colorful Millefiori Murano Glass Pendant
A bright, cheerful vintage Murano glass pendant from Antica Murrina Veneziana. A disc of black glass with colorful millefiori flowers blooming at its heart is displayed in a bezel of gold plated sterling silver. The pendant's bale is signed "AMV" and the bezel is marked "925 * 2225 VI." Millefiori glass is named for the Italian words "Mille," meaning thousand, and "Fiori," meaning flowers. Circa 1960.
Details..... The modern gold filled cable chain is 16" long and the pendant measures 0.75" in diameter, 1" with bale. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewelry, we consider it a part of the charm.
