Darling Irish Jade & Marcasite Shamrock Studs
Erin go Bragh! Darling shamrock studs, made of Connemara marble and glittering marcasites. The studs are scalloped frames of silver-tone metal set with small marble discs. Tiny shamrocks are applied to the marble, marcasites embellish the design. The shamrock is a young sprig of clover, a traditional symbol of Ireland. Connemara marble is a rare, green marble that is native to Ireland, and is sometimes known as Irish jade. The back of the earrings appear to bear illegible hallmarks. Circa 1930
Details.....The earrings measure .48" in diameter. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it a part of their charm.
