A delightful dragonfly brooch ready to alight upon your jacket. The sterling silver body of this whimsical insect is bezel set with an oval blue turquoise and a teardrop of green turquoise. Her wings and tail are stamped with elaborate rocker designs resembling feathered shields and, perhaps, snakes. "Sterling" and the maker's mark "S" are stamped on her back. This charming brooch is generous in size and ideal for wear on a heavier fabric. Circa 1960.
