Dramatic 19thc Bloodstone Gold Ring
Applied Prongs and engraved shoulders give this 19th century beauty some drama. The deep forest green blood stone with just the right amount of red is a gorgeous thing, high domed and loaf shaped. Blood stone is said to aid in protection, purification, and courage. The gold is 14k in that mellow color old gold has, less garish than modern gold. Circa 1880.
