Engraved Gold Filled Heart Locket with Cameo

This endearing heart-shaped locket is set with a small cameo, surrounded by a delicate engraved floral pattern. The shell cameo is carved with the head of a beautiful woman. Bright gold-filled metal glitters with crisp engraving on alternating fields of glossy matte and highly polished metal. The back of the locket is plain. The locket's interior is in clean condition, with one frame and no glass. A decorative engraved bale completes the piece; it hangs from a vintage gold-filled curb chain. Very pretty and romantic, a perfect Mother's Day gift. Circa 1950.

Details.....The chain is 24" long, and the locket measures 1.04" by 1.20", 1.55" with bale. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique pieces; we consider it part of the charm.
