Engraved Rose Gold & Madeira Citrine Ring

This gorgeous Madeira citrine glows in a classically Victorian ring. The oval citrine is mouthwatering, such a deep, rich red-gold-orange color. The gem is beautifully displayed in a 12-prong claw setting. The 14k rose gold setting is exquisitely engraved with acanthus leaves and scrollwork at the cathedral shoulders. The band is grooved around the shank. A fabulous gift for your favorite Scorpio. Circa 1890.  

Citrines range from pale lemon yellow to “Madeira,” a rich, orange color with red flashes. Madeira citrine resembles Madeira fortified wine in color: a saturated, tawny reddish-orange.
