Ethereal Rock Crystal Sphere Necklace

This "Pools of Light" rock crystal necklace glows with an ethereal light. A graduated swag of luminous crystal spheres hang on a silver chain. A magical crystal teardrop capped in silver hangs from the largest orb. These crystals are pierced, with some chipping and glue around the drilled holes. It may not be perfect, but this necklace of hard to find rock crystal is beautiful. Circa 1920.

Pools of Light rock crystal beads are so beautiful and interesting . Each glowing sphere is believed to contain a spark of Chi, the Chinese word for life force. Ideally, the crystals should not be drilled or pierced lest the Chi escape. The crystal spheres also act as convex lenses, flipping light upside down and casting beautifully diffused pools of light upon nearby surfaces.

Details.....The necklace is 16" long and the crystals measure 14.5mm and 18.5mm in diameter and the drop is 9mm by 30mm. In Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique pieces, we consider it part of the charm.
