An exquisite Edwardian costume necklace set with sparkling paste gems. An elaborate pendant hangs from a pretty peanut chain; the pendant is a long drop of silver tone base metal, hinged in two places to lay gracefully over the breastbone. Delicate engraved detail surrounds the bright white paste stones. Affordable antique glamour, this necklace will be breathtaking worn with your vintage wedding dress. Circa 1900.

Paste gems are leaded glass gems formed in molds and then polished to resemble diamonds or gemstones. With better quality pastes facets could even be cut and polished like natural gems.

Details.....The necklace is 16" long and the pendant measures 0.46" by 1.82". In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on Vintage and Antique jewels, we consider it part of the charm.
