Exquisite Victorian Chatelaine Perfume Bottle

This ornate chatelaine perfume bottle has that Gothic Revival flavor the Victorians loved. A clear oval glass bottle is wrapped in elaborate brass filigree. The jeweler's brass is decorated has embossed fleur de lis around the top. Colorful discs of guilloche enamel adorn the brass. Rose cut colored gems are applied along with prong set enamel gems. This piece is very good, usable condition. The hinged brass top opens to reveal a glass stopper. This wonderful jewel hangs from a chatelaine ring, allowing you to wear the piece as a pendant. Circa 1890-1900.
