This Art Deco necklace of carnelian and crystal beads is fabulous. Delicate carnelian faceted barrel beads alternate with clear crystal bicones. The carnelian glows and shines, the crystal glitters and sparkles. The contrast is crisp and graphic, so evocative of the Art Deco era. The beads are strung on white silk and finished with a sterling silver C-clasp. The carnelian beads are really quite exceptional. Circa 1920.
Details.....The necklace measures 18" long. The carnelian beads average 10.9mm by 5.9mm, the crystal beads are 5.5mm. In Very Good Vintage condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels, we consider it a part of their charm.
