Fancy Tassel & Foxtail Chain Necklace by Ancient Influences

The fanciest tassel around swings from this elegant Victorian necklace. A supple 14k gold foxtail chain is cleverly fitted, with the tassel at one end and a spring ring clasp at the other. The necklace fastens in the front, and the spring ring allows for the easy addition of charms. The 15ct gold foxtail chain tassel is crowned by an ornate cap with a fabulous arched top, engraved texture, and a black enameled cross design. This wonderful piece is slinky and very tactile, as fun to wear as it is gorgeous. Circa 1870-1890.

From the Married Chains Collection by Ancient Influences. All of the ingredients in this necklace are recycled and vintage. I love using vintage findings and am thrilled to discover just the right split ring or hook for a piece.

Details.....The chain is 25" long and 1.3mm wide. The tassel measures 1.36" long, and the cap is .25" in diameter. This piece weighs 8.4 grams. All of the items in this collection are made using vintage and antique bits & pieces. Small imperfections are to be considered part of their charm.
