Flashing Opal & Diamond Halo Ring in Platinum & 18ct Gold

This English Art Deco opal and diamond ring is sophisticated and very feminine. A flashing fiery opal is bezel set at the center of a halo of platinum set diamonds. The scalloped platinum frame is embellished with exquisite metalwork. The gem-set platinum top sits over the buttery 18ct yellow gold body of the ring, plaques of platinum layer the cathedral shoulders of the ring. We love this method of layering precious metals, it was a very popular technique at the turn of the 20th century. Circa 1920.
