A deep red 3 carat oval garnet is claw set in this 14k gold 19th century ring. The ring has the clean and timeless architectural lines that make the jewels from the end of the Victorian era so wearable. The grooved band is wide and flat in the style referred to as a cigar band. The Garnet has a wonderful rich color and is quite pleasant and lively. Circa 1880.
Details.....Currently a size 5.25, this ring can be sized up or down 2 sizes at no charge, if you need it sized beyond that please contact us. The top of the ring measures 11.7mm x 9.1mm and the band measures 4.2mm. In excellent antique condition.
