A charming tableau of a songbird with her eggs in a nest is depicted in these Victorian Grand Period earrings. The earrings are 14k gold squares, set on point. The bird is sculpted in high relief within a circular inset, like a porthole window into nature. Incredibly detailed gold work borders the earrings, with hand engraving and a beaded edge. The new ear wires are stationary French hooks, crafted in 14k gold. Circa 1860.

Details.....The earrings are 1.1" long and the panels measure 0.91" by 0.91". In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels, we consider it part of the charm.
