Gorgeous Georgian Imperial Topaz & Diamond Earrings
A pear-shaped imperial topaz in a perfect shade of peach swings from the bottom of each of these superb Georgian earrings. The topaz gems are set in 12k gold cut-back collets, then suspended from delicate silver panels set with twinkling rose cut diamonds. The earrings are hinged above and below the center floral element, giving them a sassy swing. The original wires were replaced with secure posts and lever backs in the early 20th Century. Exquisitely made and in lovely, wearable condition. Circa 1820.
Please note that you Do Not want to get foiled closed-back gems wet, it will darken the stones.
Details.....These earrings are 1.26" long and .35" at the widest point. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels.
