These matte black glass beads are the height of Victorian fashion. The round graduated beads are strung on a woven metal chain and the integrated bead-clasp is capped in 14k yellow gold. Stringing the beads on a chain is more secure than silk, the metal supports the weight of the glass. This necklace will look great worn casually, with a suit or with a cocktail dress. Layer it with gold chains of varying length for a look that is both fashion forward and historically accurate. Circa 1880.
Details.....The necklace is 17" long. The beads measure between 4.9mm and 9.9mm. The clasp is 6.9mm. In Very Good Antique condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique pieces, we consider it part of the charm.
