Heavenly Old Mine Diamond Halo Ring in 18ct & Platinum
Fresh from London...our latest batch of enchanting jewels from Across the Pond. We love the luxurious Edwardian technique of layering diamond-spangled platinum over rich 18ct yellow gold. This delightful Art Deco era diamond halo ring looks like an exquisite flower, with an open work top and delicate milgrain engraving. Chunky old mine cut diamonds glitter in scalloped platinum settings; the largest stone sits at the center of the blossom while eight smaller stones float in a ring around it. These antique diamonds have a weight of 0.55cts, with VS/SI clarity and I/J color. The decorative top is layered over a beautifully crafted, low profile 18ct gold gallery. Pinched shoulders widen into a slim band. The interior of the band is hand engraved with the number "16". This heavenly ring is a dream, both romantic and practical to wear. Circa 1920.
