Icy Marquis Aquamarine Cocktail Ring

An exquisite marquis cut aquamarine dazzles in this vintage cocktail ring. The aquamarine has an icy glitter that is enhanced by the dramatic marquis cut. It is securely set in yellow gold "V" prongs that protect the gem's tips. The body of the ring is 10k yellow gold, accented by six tiny diamonds set in little white gold navettes and bezels. The openwork sides are embellished with milgrain detail creating a lacy effect that contrasts with the stark beauty of the center stone. Circa 1940.
