Industria Argentina Modernist Madeira Citrine & Platinum Ring

This incredible Mid Century Madeira citrine ring will take your breath away. The 1.10ct citrine is mouthwatering, such a deep, rich red-gold-orange color. The stone is displayed in an elegant platinum setting with fancy, fluted prongs and diamond-set, graduated step-side shoulders. The band is appealingly squared-off and heavy. The interior of the band is marked for platinum and the maker "Industria Argentina." A fabulous gift for your favorite Scorpio. Circa 1950.  

Citrines range from pale lemon yellow to “Madeira,” a rich, orange color with red flashes. Madeira citrines resemble Madeira fortified wine in color: a saturated, tawny reddish-orange.

Little information is available about Industria Argentina, only that they produced exceptionally designed and crafted jewelry with a modernist aesthetic in the 1950s and '60s. Industria Argentina jewels are rumored to have been found in Eva Peron's personal collection.  

Details.....Currently a size 5.75. The ring may be sized up or down two sizes free of charge.
