This jaunty little nosegay features a cabochon of amber in a sterling silver brooch. Rich buttery amber is bezel set amid curling tendrils and a tender three-dimensional leaf. The amber is speckled with red inclusions of petrified pollen and bits of vegetation. The silver is beautifully worked, with finely engraved details. The brooch is finished with a safety clasp. Lightweight and perfect for wear on mid-weight fabrics. Circa 1970.
Details.....The brooch measures 2" by 0.77". In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique pieces; we consider it part of the charm.
