Lovely Lilac Antique Sapphire Solitaire Ring by 720

This antique 2.28ct sapphire is an unbelievable shade of luminous light purple. Clean-lined and classic, the ring displays this incredible gemstone to maximum advantage. The rectangular cushion cut gem shines in a timeless solitaire setting crafted in recycled platinum; a curvaceous four-prong basket head sits between slender cathedral shoulders that taper into a knife edge band. The setting for this glorious gem was hand crafted using age old techniques in our own in house studio. The sapphire dates to the 1850s.

Gem Details....The sapphire is a 2.28 carat rectangular cushion faceted cut, with a slightly included clarity and medium, slightly grayish, reddish purple color.

Details.....Currently a size 7. This ring can be sized up or down two sizes free of charge. The head of the ring measures 6.2mm by 8.4mm. The band is 2mm wide. In Excellent Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels, we consider it part of their charm.
