Classically Victorian, this 14k gold brooch is elaborately wrought with a sweet sentimental motif. The light and airy brooch is a variety of bar pin. Parallel vertical and horizontal gold lines form the body of the pin, terminating in fancy scrollwork at each end. A lucky three-leaf clover sits at the center, claw-set with three wonderful old mine cut diamonds. The funky, chunky stones have a 0.45tcw. Wee gold beads and leaves add pretty accent details. The brooch secures with a security clasp, an early 20th Century replacement. Circa 1890.
