This Mid Century solitaire engagement ring displays a lush 1.0 carat natural sapphire with a rich indigo blue color. The round sapphire sits in a raised six prong martini-glass-shaped head that allows lots of light to illuminate the gem. The 14k white gold ring is minimal and elegant, a lovely example of this era's design aesthetic. An ideal engagement ring for a lover of rich color. Circa 1950.
