Magnificent Edwardian Aquamarine & Diamond Ring
This antique aquamarine and diamond ring is magnificent, every refined Edwardian detail is exquisite. A saturated, bright blue oval-cut aquamarine is bezel set at the center of a pierced out dome. 56 small old European cut diamonds are bead set in graceful curves radiating out from the aqua. The ring's diamond-set shoulders extend over the dome. The gallery and cathedral shoulders are pierced out and the entirety of the ring is covered in delicate milgrain detail. The gallery and ajouring is wonderful, like dew-drop covered spiderwebs. This ring is truly breathtaking; the more you look the more beauty you see. Circa 1915.
This ring comes with an insurance replacement cost appraisal. The appraisal is done by an independent gem lab. The appraised value is $3000.
Gem Details.....The aquamarine is a 1 carat oval faceted mixed cut, with H2 (Heavily Included) clarity and light, very slightly grayish, blue color. There are 66 accent diamonds with a 0.58tcw, VS-SI clarity and G/H color.
Details.....Currently a size 6.75. This ring may be sized up or down two sizes free of charge. Please contact us if you need this ring sized more than two sizes, it may be possible and will have a small fee. The oval top measures 14mm by 11.6mm wide, 18.1mm wide from diamond-set shoulder to shoulder. The band tapers from 2.3mm to 1.4mm wide. In Excellent Vintage Condition.
