We love the scarab jewels popularized in the mid 20th century and are excited to have found a small collection of them. A hand carved bloodstone scarab hangs from a sterling silver chain. Bloodstone is a stone of courage and purification, and has long been used for its healing properties. It transforms negative energy and purify and protects a space. This necklace has the feel of a powerful talisman. Circa 1950.
Details.....The scarab measures 1.04" by 0.77". The chain is 24" long. In Very Good Vintage condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels we consider it part of their charm.
