Mid-Century Heart-Shaped "Bon Voyage" Charm

This mid-century charm is the perfect accessory to your Grand Tour. The 14k gold heart-shaped pendant bears an ocean liner and the legend "Bon Voyage," sculpted in bas relief on a field of glittering engraving. Wee pearls represent the rolling waves crashing around the ship; a tiny ruby twinkles above, like the North Star. A small window curves over the ruby, revealing the name of one of Europe's most notable cities. "Rome," "London," and "Paris" are engraved on a rotating dial that spins to change the city's name. A jump ring has been added to the bale, making it easy to wear this diverting piece on one of our Ancient Influences' married chains. Circa 1950.
