Old Mine Diamond Blossom in Platinum on 18ct Ring
We are smitten with the antique flower rings we source in London, each one has its own unique flair. This romantic example features a 0.65ct cluster of old mine cut diamonds set in platinum. Beautiful metalwork around the sparkling diamonds creates a lacy flower effect. The diamond-set platinum is layered over luxe 18ct gold. We love this method of layering precious metals, it was a very popular technique at the turn of the 20th century. The ring's shoulders curl gracefully around the diamond flower cluster. A low profile makes this ring very wearable and a lovely choice for a betrothal or engagement ring. Circa 1891.
