Old Mine Diamond Drop Earrings with Carriage Covers

A pair of dreamy OMC Diamond Drops with their Carriage Covers, this is a first for me in almost 30 years. 1.58tcw of chunky diamonds are set in lovely tulip mounts, all original to the period. The gold of the earrings is 18k yellow, tested, and guaranteed. The carriage covers are marvelously Etruscan Revival and have their original patina, dreamy. Mid-1800s.

Diamond Details....One diamond is .78ct SI1/JK, and the other is .80ct VS1/KL; they match nicely in size and shape with a total weight of 1.58ct.

The Diamond earrings without the carriage covers have a retail replacement value of $8400. And come with an independent appraisal from a Gem Lab.

Details.....The drop from the ear is .76" without the covers on, and the covers measure 13.5mm across when closed. They are in very good antique condition. Antique jewels may have small imperfections, but we consider them a part of their charm.
