Platinum & Diamond Hexagonal Lavalier Pendant
A platinum lavalier pendant in a classic hexagonal design with unexpected Arts & Crafts accents; simple geometric shapes are brought together to create a subtle and elevated necklace. The pendant is an open work hexagon, framing a disc composed of of concentric circles. A bright and sparkling diamond is prong set at the center of the disc. The pendant hangs from an unusual decorative bale; a slim, elongated bar is crowned by an inverted triangle, pebbled with tiny domes. Fine platinum chain suspends the lavalier from two of the triangle's corners. The sweet, delicate lavalier style necklace was very popular in the early 20th Century. This one has a bit of an edge and we are here for it. Circa 1915.
Details.....The chain is 15" long and the pendant measures 1.15" long and 8.3mm wide. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels, we consider it part of the charm.
