A gorgeous 18k gold and ruby necklace made in the Pradesh style. Ruby-set drops and beads of 18k gold slide freely on a choker-length chain of tightly woven gold. The drops and beads are embellished with applied gold balls. The chain is finished with a decorative hook and eye clasp. High-karat gold and rich, raspberry-red rubies are such a sumptuous combination that this necklace will make you feel like a queen. Circa 1970.
Details.....The necklace is 16" long. The smallest ruby drop measures 9.8mm long, and the largest measures 9.3mm by 17.6mm. This piece weighs 14.5 grams. In Very Good Vintage Condition. Small imperfections are to be expected and are considered part of the charm.
