Regal Sapphire Cabochon in Curvaceous 18k Ring

Luxurious, high carat yellow gold and royal blue sapphire is such a regal combination. This buttery ring is curvy and sensual, with nary an angle to be found. The heavy, tapered 18k gold band is set with a cabochon sapphire; the oval sapphire nestles horizontally in a chubby raised bezel. The interior of the band is stamped "750", indicating 18k gold. This is one of those fascinating jewels that feels both ancient and modern. What an interesting engagement ring it would make. Circa 1980.

Details.....Currently a size 6.5. It may be sized up or down two sizes free of charge. The ring measures 7.2mm wide at the front and tapers to 3.6mm at the back of the band.
