In the 19th Century this very popular style of ring was referred to as a "Cigar Band." Very thin and rather wide, the band resembles the paper bands that were placed around cigars. This rosy 9ct gold example has beveled panels engraved with a variety of flourishes and designs. Hallmarked for 9ct, Birmingham, England and the year 1883.
Details.....This ring is a size 5.25. It cannot be sized. The band measures 7.9mm wide. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique pieces, we consider it part of the charm.
