Rough & Radiant Rose Cut Diamond Russian Ring

Ten rough and radiant rose cut diamonds grace this turn of the 20th Century Russian ring. Two rows of five diamonds are set in silver over a 14k yellow gold band. This was a popular style during the era. The shoulders are accented with a stylized buckle design. Underneath the gem set top is fine ajouring in the shape of paisleys. This type of metalwork is done for structure, yet may be executed so beautifully. A hint of iridescent bloom haunts the crevasses. These are the details that make antique jewels so very special. Circa 1900. This ring has Russian hallmarks inside the band, it was made a only a few years before the Bolshevik Revolution.
