Scissor Cut Sapphire Platinum & 18ct Ring

Fresh from London...our latest batch of enchanting jewels from Across the Pond. We love the luxurious Edwardian technique of layering diamond-spangled platinum over rich 18ct yellow gold. An adorable Edwardian ring, simple and sweet, with sapphire and diamond. A small square scissor cut natural sapphire is bezel set in platinum. It is flanked by little old mine cut diamonds, also bezel set in platinum. Delicate milgrain engraving edges the gems. The platinum set stones sit above an 18ct yellow gold ring, with a very low profile, pinched shoulders, and a slim band. An enchanting engagement ring choice, dainty and colorful. Circa 1910.

Details.....Currently a size 7.75. This ring may be sized up or down two sizes free of charge. Please contact us if you need this ring sized more than two sizes, it may be possible and will have a small fee. The top of the ring measures 9.4mm by 4mm and the band measures 1.6mm wide. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should expect all vintage and antique jewels to show some wear, we consider it part of their charm.
