This cool Norwegian 14k gold band feels like a hybrid between a wedding band and a signet ring. The top of the ring is a domed, lozenge-shaped plaque. It sits above grooved shoulders that taper back to a wide shank. A bright, high polish finish makes this unusual ring shine. Circa 1970.
