This gorgeous Taxco clamper bracelet has a dramatic Mesoamerican design motif. Repoussé sterling silver work wraps the wrist in an abundance of vigorous swirls. Budding vines curl along its sides. Glossy silver beads accent the piece, like tiny bubbles dancing on the waves. The bracelet's back is hinged, allowing the piece to open and close easily. The interior is marked "Taxco Mexico 925." Circa 1960.

The city of Taxco is an important center for Mexican silver jewelry design. It attracts designers and studio jewelers with its abundant supply of locally mined materials such as silver and semi-precious gems.

Details.....The bracelet's exterior measures 2.70" by 2.30", its tapers from 2.10" in the front to .80" in the back. The approximate interior circumference is 7.5". In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should expect some wear on all vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of their charm.
