This wonderful sterling silver brooch has gorgeous three dimensional detail on the front and a receiving locket on the back. Embellished with classic Victorian design: an eight-sided, studded star is framed in fanciful scrollwork and the brooch is edged with silver beading. The locket is empty, cream satin under glass. The pin is secured with a Victorian C-clasp. This piece is English, it is hallmarked for Birmingham and the year 1882.
