Stunning Turquoise & Sterling Silver Shadowbox Pendant by L.M. Nez

This fantastic piece uses a shadowbox technique to dramatic effect, setting a grass green turquoise in a beautifully scalloped sterling silver bezel made all the brighter by the dark moat of shadowed space surrounding it. The moat is framed in polished silver that curves like petals at the cardinal points with bursts of sun-ray-like lines set in between. The lovely green stone is highlighted by constellations of brown matrix. The pendant hangs from a sterling silver box chain. The chain is stamped Italy 925, and the pendant bears the hallmark L.M. NEZ.

L.M. Nez stands for Leonard and Marian Nez. Marian is a Navajo silversmith from a family of silversmiths and learned her craft from her parents. She inspired her husband, Leonard, by teaching him the art.

Details.....The chain is 16" long. The pendant measures 1.14", including the integrated bale, and is 0.73" wide. In Very Good Estate Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique pieces; we consider it part of the charm.
