Tiny Navajo-style stud earrings set with unexpected opals. Each little stud is set with an opal in a hand cut bezel within an engraved sterling silver frame. An applied leaf curls around the stone and a three silver beads complete the design. The opals are bright white with flashing iridescent colors. is the purest sky blue. The post earrings have flat backs, making them practical and comfortable. This is a wonderful way to delicate opals. Circa 1970.
