Unusual Two Tone Gold Onyx and Diamond Ring
The black onyx and diamond ring is a staple of the Art Deco jewelry wardrobe, they were very fashionable throughout the 1920s, 30s and 40s. This particular example is unusual and particularly appealing. A narrow arched plaque of glossy black onyx is flanked by diamond-set white gold triangles in a stylized bow tie motif. The yellow gold body of the ring is embellished with scrolled flourishes. The 10k two-tone gold adds dimension and character as well as versatility. This glamorous ring will look great worn on the pointer finger.. Circa 1940.
Details..... Currently a size 6, this ring comes with one free sizing. The top measures 17.7mm by 13.3mm and the back of the band measures 2mm. In Very Good Vintage condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels.
