From the moment I opened the box, I was in love with this set. It isn't often I find a matched set and to find one this lovely and still in its original fitted box is a dream. The earrings are perfection, done in a Ribbon Motif. Each one is set with 4 cushion shaped old diamonds, and they have enamel details that add to their beauty. The matching Brooch is set with 7 shiny old Diamonds and has enameled details. There are stars set with diamonds to either side of the central diamond set decoration. The back of the brooch is fitted with a locket and has its original little safety chain. These types of safety chains were popular in the eras before safety closures were invented for pin stems. All tucked into its deep purplish blue velvet lined leather box. The set is 15k Gold which means it is likely English.
This would be an outstanding addition to any collection.
