A gorgeous antique diamond is displayed to fine advantage in this hand fabricated platinum solitaire ring. The 1.38ct oval-shaped old European cut diamond hails from the early 19th Century; the unique stone has an SI1 clarity and lovely warm M-N color. Set in a softly scalloped bezel atop a simple half round band, the understated luxury of the setting enhances the stone's charismatic qualities. The diamond dates to circa 1800. The platinum is recycled and sourced from a green refinery.

This ring comes with an insurance replacement cost appraisal, and the appraisal is done by an independent gem lab. The appraised value is $6200.
